I've found a friend who died for me

First time posting here hehe..

I have a testimony to share here..its about my computer and I'm sure some of you knew about it..rigghtt? haha

At first, last week there was this update about Service Pack 1 for Vista and I installed that update. This particular update is super long- more than 1 hour and you know what? In the end, the screen showed: Service Pack did not install .....!!!! I was like...huhhhh...made me wait till midnight..till my battery went flat -.- then the next day when I use my laptop, the graphics changed. From normal size font to big font! The whole icons were like so big and it looked abit pixel-lated if you know what I mean. And I was quite sad about it. Actually, I planned to ask Jh help me edit the graphics or something, but in the end, I decided to pray. And 1 or 2 days after, I on my com and there was an update again. A new update called Nvidia Geforce or something and I restarted my computer and behold! My graphics went back to normal! Thank God. Its NOT a coincidence because an update doesn't just come like that and somemore an update about graphics (: and it was then that I realise my speaker wasn't working. It's hard to explain here. The speaker button appeared muted but on the screen it's not and there wasn't any sound. Then I prayed. On that day I searched and searched and I found this unknown device in my device manager or somehing and I updated it but no result. Then after 2 days or so (on Sunday) I prayed over my speaker before I on the com. When I on, it still could not work..and to cut the long story short, God led me to the update device thing and speaker worked!! PRAISE GOD! However...my itunes no sound and I prayed then I called Alex and to cut the long story short again, he asked me changed the "treble boost" to "bass boost" and it worked! But I don't understand why that change can actually work if you know what I mean.. haha...

ok ok..sorry for that loooonggggg description of my testimony haha! Thanks forr reading!

God is so super good!Indeed He has supplied all my needs. HAAS.
even though i had only 2 bucks left, He made it possible for me to get a full meal plus a drink.

thank God for food sia, must learn not to complain and grumble when we all have enough food to eat. i know how it feels to be hungry.

wanna thank God for helping me survive through all my overnight mugging sessions too. literally felt like i was half-dead after the first one. But glad i'm laive and kickin' now(= Praise God

This is a testimony of how God has blessed me with his abundance of his kingdom.

Today I received confirmation that my idea that was sent in for Imagine Cup was selected.
Praise God and all glory be onto Him!

2 days before the final submission of proposals for the preliminary round
The course coordinator called my team up for a brainstorming session
as we were on the verge of giving up our hopes on this competition.

During the session my teammate Kelvin came up with an idea all unanimously agreed upon.
However as for me, my idea was subtly rejected. unfaced by the circumstances I pressed on and went spinning more ideas and God blessed me with one.

On the actual day of the submiossion, again I went to consult my teacher. He wasn't much impressed, however he told me not to give up. I was alittle discouraged initially however I was asking myself what's there to loose? I went to call a recycling company just to find out whether they would like to endorse my idea. True enough as the Lord will, my idea was accepted by them for endorsement within just 5 minutes of talk on the phone. I was motivated to continue developing my idea futher.

Hence when I went home, I locked my door and stared on my proposal. I was asking myself " HOw can I finish a 5 page long proposal within 5 hours? [[submission was on 23:59]] ". Anyway strugging to put my content right, I managed by God's grace to finish within 4 hours only. Making final adjustments within the next half an hour, I was 30 minutes from the dateline.

I was elated. Everything worked the way I wanted. I was sent my mail and was ready for bed. However, my attachment did not go thru! I was anxious what could possibly go wrong?! I prayed desperately to God however it just would not pass. Then only at 1:35 did the mail go through. I was really worried, would my proposals [Kelvin's and mine]] be accepted? we had passed the official dateline.

Great is the grace of God, I learnt that the official dateline has been shited backwards for us to make adjustments afew days after. I was so relieved that ours are in good hands.

Today, whilst I called the Imagine Cup personnel to check who's proposal was choosen, Glory onto God, it was mine! I was on cloud nine!

Hence If not for my course coordinator, I would have easily just given up, If not for his comments, I would not be willing to challenge myself to imagine more. If not for God, we will not be in the semi finals. THe top 16 teams choosen in entire Singapore.

God is so great!

Just after being blessed by Pastor Gary

I feel thaT God has changed my life wonderfully

Sep 13 was my last day working at The Buffet Club

Well I had a fresh new perspective of telemarketing i've never done before

It can be quite demanding and tiring actually

especially when you are doing something you don't like

[Well.. not so strong I should say? perhaps I don't have much interest in?]

I knew perfectly well I am i a technical guy

I can't stand being like those PoPo's sweet talking the customers on the phone..

so I prayed to God

(God if I don't close any sales by today. Show me this isn't my line)

sure enough... none came.

Even without the sweet talking, there was another factor that led me to quit

my superior, has a very "nice" way of pressuring us

just take a look at 2 huge classroom sized whiteboards

One devoted to all the sales collected by every person

another to write their weekly and daily targets

and to accommodate all the top sellers in the past.

Went back home with my mind all set

and I was traveling in the 851 bus when and an SMS came by

I thought it must be from Amanda again

but hey! the contents in it shocked me!

My GPA? a surprising 3.62/4

surprising cause I never expected that to be so high after all my B's

Well I'm well contented that i've got this

but I am not satisfied yet

cause I have not reached my expected target of 4

and also Mr Lim my CM too yeah?HAHA!

I was in a complete shock seriously

was a complete numb in the bus

i was deciding whether to drop my phone but better not

it's just my few days old baby

but reality is.. after IISO exams

which is a business paper and totally screwed up

due to ill time management

I thought i could fail!

but God was merciful

I got a B after all!

and WDS too was a shocker!

you should have seen my heart just after my WDS presentation on week 17

was total desperation!

just on that day I was put on the test of having ComArc Lab test and WDs together

I was feel so bad after Lab Test I was possibly going to cry my heart out

and then came WDS presentation which........was WORSE

but in the end I pulled thru and got a Z!

Of course! not everything was all my effort too

the designing of my website was well vastly improved by Miss Tan

and I can't help but to admire her work

totally amazing!

Anyway I was glad that God led me the way

I received a job vacancy from my father in the evening

I and now officially going to start work once again

and nevertheless it's my dream job

Working in a semi govt body, doing IT related stuff

Well although it's just a small job offering

I feel so very good about it

cause it's my specialty! computers!

on the hardware side too! totally marvelous!

God have been so great

and I will never forget what Pastor Gary had said

Praise be on God! Helleluyah!
