Hi people!

As we were discussing some issues with the Cell Blog during lunch, i've decided to create an independant account that all of us can sign in regardless of whether you have a Blogger account or not. I'll be sending out the password and UserID to your very soon. Please check in your mail. If you have a blogger account and would like to permission to write from your account do tell me. I can help you with that!

Couple of announcements to make

1) With effect: Dec '07 - All cell meetings would only be compulsory only on the 2nd and 4th week of every month. As for 1st and 3rd week, cell groups can plan fellowship gatherings. This is so as to strengthen the bond of cell group members[added by me].*hehex*

2) With effect: Jan '08 - Speedlight services would be divided into two groups.

ages 11~14 : Douglas (I/C)

ages 15~20 : Pastor Sam/ Pastor Pacal

*Speedlight i/c's are tentative TBA

3) On the 16 Dec we are having an extended Praise and Worship

On the 23 Dec we are having Christmas celebration!

On the 30 dec we are having Thanksgiving!

4) We are very proud to invite our worthy brother-in-Christ : Barney

age: 21 on 22

currently in the Army

serving in the Medic unit of SCDF of chemical attack unit

ALSO he is from Hope church in Somerset!

Take note that cell group would still be held in Elisabeth house 27 Oct

and there would be a cell party then. Do invite ALL ex-cell members over!

One last thing to add!

Do pray for a house to be given to us by our Lord fore cell group meetings

and for Elisabeth to stay!

Please do come more often to check for updates and other stuff or to even share testimonies!

Hi Guys!

Well cell was canceled due to a VVIP

who came to our church to talk to us more about

the current situation in Israel.

Quite in line with the topic thaT pastor Rony

has been talking the past few weeks

about the seals in the book of revalation.

Just for some general knowledge:

Israel is a country in Southwest Asia located on the southwesten edge

of the Mediterranean Sea. It has boarders with Lebanon in the north,

Syria and Jordan in the east and egypt in the southwest.

It has a population of 7.2 Million, majority Jews- worls's only Jewish state,

Muslim Arabs and Christians and Druze. Jerusalem is the nation's capital.

Well just as I was hearing the message again

[I secretly recorded the sermon]

i began to realize some important truth

that well.. Muslims faith began from Haggar's son Ishamel

and God made a secret covenant with him

that the seed of Ishamel would always be prosperous

and that explains why all the oil of the world is in the hands of the Arabian countries.

Alright~ I've got another suitable skin for the blog

Well I was talking to Rebecca last night

and this short chat actually invoked me to see this point

Well I've knew her for such a long time

however it was only up to yesterday that we had a FIRST hearty chat after like 6 years?

I know this is totally incredible

but the point is that there are those regulars I seen in cell every week

but we have never even know each other too well

well perhaps I feel it.. don't know whether it's the same for the rest?

Well we should get united and closer

especially in these end times yeahh?

so that the irritating Satan cannot pull us away

Well think of ideas so that we would be bonded!

God is so great!

I feel thaT God has changed my life wonderfully

Sep 13 was my last day working at The Buffet Club

Well I had a fresh new perspective of telemarketing i've never done before

It can be quite demanding and tiring actually

especially when you are doing something you don't like

[Well.. not so strong I should say? perhaps I don't have much interest in?]

I knew perfectly well I am i a technical guy

I can't stand being like those PoPo's sweet talking the customers on the phone..

so I prayed to God

(God if I don't close any sales by today. Show me this isn't my line)

sure enough... none came.

Even without the sweet talking, there was another factor that led me to quit

my superior, has a very "nice" way of pressuring us

just take a look at 2 huge classroom sized whiteboards

One devoted to all the sales collected by every person

another to write their weekly and daily targets

and to accommodate all the top sellers in the past.

Went back home with my mind all set

and I was traveling in the 851 bus when and an SMS came by

I thought it must be from Amanda again

but hey! the contents in it shocked me!

My GPA? a surprising 3.62/4

surprising cause I never expected that to be so high after all my B's

Well I'm well contented that i've got this

but I am not satisfied yet

cause I have not reached my expected target of 4

and also Mr Lim my CM too yeah?HAHA!

I was in a complete shock seriously

was a complete numb in the bus

i was deciding whether to drop my phone but better not

it's just my few days old baby

but reality is.. after IISO exams

which is a business paper and totally screwed up

due to ill time management

I thought i could fail!

but God was merciful

I got a B after all!

and WDS too was a shocker!

you should have seen my heart just after my WDS presentation on week 17

was total desperation!

just on that day I was put on the test of having ComArc Lab test and WDs together

I was feel so bad after Lab Test I was possibly going to cry my heart out

and then came WDS presentation which........was WORSE

2.no link to homepage

3.broken links to some other pages

but in the end I pulled thru and got a Z!

Of course! not everything was all my effort too

the designing of my website was well vastly improved by Miss Tan

and I can't help but to admire her work

totally amazing!

Anyway I was glad that God led me the way

I received a job vacancy from my father in the evening

I and now officially going to start work once again

and nevertheless it's my dream job

Working in a semi govt body, doing IT related stuff

Well although it's just a small job offering

I feel so very good about it

cause it's my specialty! computers!

on the hardware side too! totally marvelous!

God have been so great

and I will never forget what Pastor Gary had said
